Olive oil comes from millennial olive trees, centenary native to the Guadalest Valley
This oil is very nice taste in the mouth, concentrating many nutritional elements and low proportion of fatty acids.
It has a bright yellow color especially peculiar. Its flavor is very fruity and sweet at once. Evokes the flavor of the olive.
It is highly recommended for direct sampling through prepared as salad or toast.

The Guadalest Valley is situated mainly between these mountains:
the north is the mountain Xortá (1126 m), south is the mountain Aitana (1558 m) and to the west is the mountain Serrella (1361 m).

Our Alfafarenca Extra Virgin Premium Olive Oil is bottled in glass painted in opaque Red, to guarantee our product′s freshness.
The name Alfafarenca or Alfafara originates from the Alicante town of Alfafara and it is one of the 24 principal olive varieties grown in Spain. Thanks to its delicate aromas and flavours not only can this variety be consumed as olive oil but also as table olives.
Our Alfafarenca Olive grove is a certified centenarian grove. Certification is granted by using the internationally recognised procedure of measuring the perimeter of the olive tree trucks at a height of 1 metre above the ground.
The Alfafarenca variety offers some very aromatic oils, with green, fruity, slightly bitter notes. Thanks to the high oleic acid and polyphenols content, these oils are very stable and have significant antioxidant properties. The Alfafarenca olive is large, has an elliptical shape and a slightly pointy end. It ripens late, it is picked from January and it is dark black with red nuances. The olive tree is strong, has an open structure and thick foliage.
Tasting Notes of Extra Virgin Olive Oil:
The nose highlights its kumato tomato aroma and a light green fig scent. It has a step-bodied dense and meaty. The palate is elegant with a bitterness that gives personality and light touches spicy aftertaste left in the shade of banana skin and nutshell.
